M1A1 Thompson
M1A1 survived the tests of battle in World War II! The M1A1 Thompson was a great weapon thanks to its
devastating .45 caliber bullets. It was capable of up to 800
rounds per minute could still operate quite well when exposed
to large quantities of dirt and rain. The only drawbacks
to the Thompson were its cost and weight. The Thompson was used extensively throughout the
1943-1944 European campaign but was gradually phased out by the cheaper and faster to make, "grease gun" in late 1944 and early 1945.
Tokyo Marui makes the electric powered M1A1 Thompson. Marui made the gun to follow up on
interest in the film "Saving Private Ryan". These are available between $275 and $365. It is
a good idea to get at least a level 1 upgrade on this gun, so it fires 325-350 FPS for better range.
The Gun weighs almost as much as a unloaded real Thompson. The fake wood is very convincing, looks real until closer inspection. You will also need a charger and a battery. It comes with 1 magazine, so plan on
getting more mags. 20, 30, 70, 190 and 420 round magazines are available.
M1928
The kit costs 219.00, and so, it makes your Thompson cost over $500.
It is completely worth it! You no longer have fake wood on your gun its 100%
REAL WOOD!!! It's actually slightly lighter than the original marui body. Plus your gun will sound different when you fire it!
Its easy to install because you don't have to mess with any of the internals of the gun, just the outside frame.
