Hudson Grease Gun
Review by Gordak (ww2airsoft.com)
Gas powered. The model looks really good with a
fake parkerized finish. If you dry fire it, the bolt
will break, so don't do that, and thus be careful when buying a
used one. Use ONLY hfc134a gas as more powerful "green gas" or "red gas" will
break it. At $145 (list price) there is no reason to buy a used
one. The gas is stored in the VERY heavy metal magazine, The mags
sometimes have feed problems dude to the quality of the casting,
This is fixed with a small file, or sand paper. Performance in
cold weather is just plain bad. Don't get this if its your only
gun and you want to partake in skirmish action.
A silenced version
is also available. This gun might be a good choice for vehicle
drivers and rear area type. At the fighting front however, Better
to have a Carbine or Thompson. Always leave a little gas in the magazine,
as this will help preserve the orings.
Their latest version, the "heavy weight" version uses an improved
gas system, Review will be up soon.
